Cut the mat into bases and use them for children s baseball games or take the mat to your children s baseball games and sit on top of it when you are in the bleachers. There are other ways to re purpose your used yoga mats such as finding other uses for them. While other non profits schools and community centers are doing excellent work bringing yoga to many populations in need we are unable to donate mats to. We will only donate to organizations that lack funds to purchase mats and provide ongoing programs where mats are used by multiple people rather than a short term programs or a single user.

You can fill out their mat donor form for any gently used mat or prop you want to donate and yogi activist will coordinate your donation with their supported outreach programs. Do you have yoga mats that are in reasonably good condition that you no longer need. Even if you don t attend classes at a local studio chances are you d be able to drop off your yoga items there. The bolder mat company also has a program for re purposing used yoga mats where you can directly donate to a charity in need of yoga mats.

We also donate mats to schools we work with. Thank you for thinking of yoga activist for your donation of new or gently used yoga mats or other yoga props. We donate new and used yoga mats to students that want to continue their practise once a class has ended. Old yoga mats can also be cut into mouse pads garden kneeling pads coasters and trivets.
